I’m running the Edinburgh Half Marathon for Edinburgh Food Project 🏃🏼‍♀️💚

Edinburgh Food Project run seven food banks across the city, providing emergency food parcels to people facing crisis. These parcels offer immediate relief from hunger and worry, giving people the breathing space to deal with other challenges they may be facing.

Beyond food, Edinburgh Food Project also delivers an FCA-accredited Money Advice Service, offering debt, budgeting and benefits advice, and works alongside partners to help people find a way out of poverty for good.

As a restaurant reviewer, I spend my days celebrating great food, hospitality and the joy it brings... and I’m acutely aware of the privilege that comes with that. No one should live in a city known for its exceptional food culture while struggling to access the basics. Edinburgh’s food poverty is an issue that sits very close to my heart, and this run feels like a small but meaningful way to support Edinburgh Food Project's vital work happening on the ground every day.
