In the heart of Kankaylay Community, Waterloo, countless children have lost their families and are struggling to survive without proper shelter, food, or education. Our vision is to change that by building Playcation Sanctuary: a safe, loving, and empowering orphanage where every child can find hope, care and the opportunity to thrive. With your help, we can create a permanent home for these vulnerable children and give them the bright future they deserve.

Playcation Sanctuary will provide essential facilities including dormitories, classrooms, a kitchen, toilets, and clean water access. It will be powered by solar energy, ensuring sustainability and continuous care even in areas with limited electricity. Beyond shelter, this project will nurture the emotional, educational, and spiritual growth of every child who walks through its doors. The sanctuary will initially care for 20 orphans with full boarding facilities.

The total estimated cost for this project is £20,000—covering fencing, construction, plastering, beds, kitchen facilities, painting, solar installation and other key amenities. Every donation (big or small) brings us closer to completing this life-changing project. Your contribution will directly help us create a safe and welcoming environment for children who currently have nowhere to call home.

This project will be delivered in partnership with Benefit Mankind—a UK-registered international aid and development organisation known for its transparency and impact. In 2024 alone they managed millions in donations supporting communities through education access; water access; orphan sponsorship; emergency relief- ensuring that every penny given goes directly to those in need.

This project is eligible for Sadaqah and Lillah contributions. (Zakaat will also become eligible once the orphanage is established, specifically for supporting the daily needs and livelihoods of the orphans).
