I'm raising money in memory of my friend Paul who died of bowel cancer.

I only learnt to ride a bike in 2020 at the age of 52. In 2021, I cycled 5 miles from Tarka Trail Cycle Hire in Barnstaple to Fremington Quay and back and raised £600 for Bowel Cancer UK.

This year I'm challenging myself to ride 100 miles in a day (on an eBike) to raise more money for this charity. I'm planning to cycle from Plymouth to Ilfracombe on the Devon Coast to Coast (C2C) cycle route.

After a few practice rides I've scaled down my challenge.

Saturday 24th June will be Plymouth to Chulmleigh via Devon C2C as far as Hatherleigh.

Sunday 25th will be Chulmleigh to Ilfracombe.
