Story
Together, along with family and friends, PMC will be walking 26.2 miles, or cycling the distance of 100km on and around the Ridgeway this summer.
Our training is already underway and we are enjoying sharing stories of our walks/cycles so far! We know this is quite a challenge but are so ready for it and cannot wait for the event which will take place on Saturday 22nd June 2024.
We are completing this event in memory of Elliot Pullen, who was a bright and talented 17-year-old lad, who sadly died in a car crash June last year. Loved by his family and adored by his PMC colleagues, Elliot had an exceptionally bright future ahead.
He joined PMC and the world of retail IT and we watched the spark become passion as Elliot gained skills that made him an essential part of the team. We were so proud to watch him become the product go-to person for customers and internal people alike.… and he picked up our mobile’s app like a duck to water. At 17 years old, PMC would trust Elliot in front of any customer or technical challenge. He had already earnt our trust and belief that under pressure, he could handle it and make the right decision.
Elliot became a retail IT professional and Technical Analyst all the PMC family were lucky enough to call our colleague - the wonderkid - a proactive and friendly team member who was growing in confidence every day. Elliot will never be forgotten in PMC, and we are honoured to work with Elliot’s family to keep his memory alive.
All fundraising will be for Brake, a road safety charity who offer support for anyone who is bereaved or seriously injured by road crashes. Brake want a world where everyone is free to move in a safe and healthy way, every day.
