At the end of June, a team of 150 elite cyclists are participating in the Grand Depart. It’s in Lille and will navigate exactly the same route that the first stage of the Tour de France will ride, 7 days later. Seven of us older and definitely not elite cyclists, have challenged ourselves to complete the 115 mile course and we are doing it for a good cause. Prostate Cancer has dealt a cruel blow to many people, some of whom I know, as I’m sure it has to many other people who you know too. Please don’t feel obliged to contribute, ignore if you want to - I do that to many and only choose to donate to some. If you do want to support me and us though, anything will be very much welcomed, and will make a real difference. I continue to train for this, my furthest distance, and very much hope I have enough in my legs! So for me personally, this will take a huge effort - but I’m up for it and with a selection of good pals, we will all help each other. I will try my best! Thank you.
