Each year 450 UK children are diagnosed with brain cancer. Among these there is a tumour so aggressive that there is NO effective treatment or a CURE - Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma or DIPG. Responsible for 80% of all brain tumour death we raise vital research funds to give hope to DIPG families.

The staff and children of Polesden Lacey Infant School are taking part in a Sponsored 'Superhero Stroll for Billy the Brave' on Wednesday 10th July. They will walk from the school to Polesden Lacey National Trust, dressed as Superheroes, in celebration of 'Billy the Brave'. All money raised will go to Abbie's Army, the charity chosen by Billy's family.

'Abbie's Army' is a children's DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) brain tumour research charity. You can find out more about Abbie's Army and DIPG by visiting https://www.abbiesarmy.co.uk/

Please sponsor the children and/or donate to support Abbie's Army in raising awareness and funding for specific DIPG research, to help overturn its 'terminal' prognosis and provide a useful resource, practical advice and support for other parents located in the UK.
