Story
I’ve been selected as one of 60 colleagues to take on a challenge this November that is, quite honestly, well beyond anything I’ve done before. I’ll be trekking through the foothills of the Himalayas, navigating remote valleys and mountain passes to raise money for Crisis and Simon Community NI.
I’m feeling a mix of nerves and excitement. This trip involves long days and high altitudes certainly more climbing than my legs are used to but the reason behind it makes every bit of training worth it.
The Goal: £4,000
I’ve committed to raising £4,000, with every pound going directly toward helping people rebuild their lives after homelessness.
Homelessness is about more than just lacking a roof; it’s the loss of safety and stability that many of us are fortunate enough to take for granted. Currently, over 300,000 people in the UK are homeless a number that would fill Wembley Stadium three times over.
How you can support
If you are able to donate, even a small amount, it truly makes a difference to those who need it most. If you aren't in a position to give, simply sharing this page would be a huge help to the cause.
Thank you for your support and for helping me reach this goal.
