Having wanted to run the prestigious London marathon for many years and not having got in on the ballot I decided to put in an application to run for Northamptonshire Health Charity and have been offered a place to run for them.

Working as a nurse in Northampton General Hospital I actively see the work this charity does to improve the health and well-being of patients, families and staff who use Northamptonshires health services. I am honoured to be able to run the London marathon for this cause close to home and would appreciate any donations big or small to make a difference to the community.
