This April 6th, myself and three of my friends, Ayomikun, Charlotte and Grace will be taking on the London Landmarks half-marathon!

I will be running to raise money for Ukrainian children affected by the war, which is tragically going into its third year. Witnessing and experiencing heartbreak and loss, particularly within my own family, let alone Ukraine as a whole is more than enough to see the pain that war ensues. 3.3 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance and 3.7 million have been displaced, including many children.

Therefore, I would like to help children around the world, particularly in Ukraine, to make sure their basic rights and needs are met. War Child provides support towards children's protection, mental health, educational materials, parenting practices and social cohesion.
