Year 3 superstars are putting on their trainers to run 2km at junior parkrun and help raise money for urgent repairs to our much-loved school pool. Their effort couldn’t come at a more important time.

After a difficult few months, we now know the pool needs major refurbishment to stay safe and open. This includes a long lasting new liner, improved drainage, refreshed filtration, essential pipework repairs, and potentially a renewable heating system to make the pool more efficient and extend the swimming season.

The core refurbishment will cost £27,000, and we’re aiming to raise an additional £7,000 for sustainable heating that will reduce running costs and protect the pool for the future.

School pools are disappearing across the county, but we are determined that Brill’s will not be one of them. Our pool gives every child the chance to learn a vital life skill, build confidence, and enjoy regular swimming — it’s part of what makes our school special.
