A few years ago, one of my lifelong friends was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. This is someone I’ve grown up with — we’ve shared childhood memories, major milestones, laughter, and everything in between. To see her facing a diagnosis like this has been heartbreaking, but she continues to stay so strong and positive, and I hope to show a fraction of that strength throughout my run for her.

MS is a lifelong condition that can be unpredictable, often invisible, and can change a person’s life overnight. While there is currently no cure, vital research, treatment advances, and support services are making a real difference for those living with MS.

My friend is one of the most special people I know; a unicorn - magical in every way. I want to stand beside her in every way I can.
