I have chosen this charity as this is very close to my heart, as a survivor of domestic abuse I have seen first hand the impact it has had on my own life as well as my family and friends seeing me go through it. There isn’t anything I can do to change the past but by donating to this cause together we can help future victims of abuse.

Domestic abuse can come in forms of physical, emotional, sexual, financial and technological. 1 in 4 women will experience domestic abuse and on average 2 women a week are killed by current or former partners.

Many people experiencing domestic abuse aren't able to speak up about it and don’t have the support to help them get out of these situations. Refuge UK is here to help women and children in these situations as well as help with the after effects of the abuse.

Refuge UK is the largest UK charity dealing with domestic and sexual abuse and I can’t be prouder to run for them as I wouldn’t be here without their support.
