Story
Every year thousands of children sadly lose their hair to many reasons such as alopecia, stress induced conditions, cancer treatment and many others.
This subject touched Poppy from an early age, and wanted to find a way to help others when she was 7 and had her hair cut and donated to the Princess Trust.
Poppy's mum herself lost her hair during cancer treatment some 20 years or so ago, so this also has a extra special meaning for Poppy.
Poppy has been growing her hair again for the last 4 years for the very purpose to help others and contribute to providing wigs for these children in need. On the 24th of July she will be having her hair cut for only the second time in her life, and more than 15 inches will be cut from her locks and then donated to this amazing charity The Little Princess Trust.
The Little Princess Trust provides over 200 real hair wigs every year, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and others, some of which we mention above.
The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.
The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.
We hope you will agree this is a really worthwhile cause and thank you for any donations you can give!
