An amazing group of people will be participating in the Norwich 10k on September 6th in memory of Sam Wainwright.

Sam was an absolutely incredible man who meant so much to all of us. Sam was an inspirational person who was the epitome of positivity and living life to the full. Sam ran the Helsinki marathon in 2024 and raised over £1000 for the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation. Sam would love that we are continuing his fundraising legacy for CLDF (now part of Liver UK) and he will definitely be cheering us on.

We are not all natural runners! A lot of hard work and commitment has gone into training for Run Norwich and we know Sam would be so proud of us for trying. He would have loved to have run it with us.

Sam died at age 22 from a rare blood disorder, leaving behind so many people who love him so much. Sam had a life saving liver transplant when he was 2 which gifted him an extra 20 years of life which we are all so grateful for. Raising money for CLDF means that we are giving back to the charity that helped Sam and his family through a really difficult time. We are so grateful to them.

Please help us continue Sam’s fundraising for CLDF and wish us luck for Run Norwich!
