Porter Dodson is proud to be the main sponsor of the 2026 Taunton Half Marathon, taking place on Sunday 1st March. Our amazing PD Team of 20 runners have been training hard and is excited to take part in the 40th anniversary of this iconic race, brought back to life by the fantastic team at Active South West.

While our runners take on the challenge of 13.1 miles, we are also using this moment to raise vital funds for our Taunton and Wellington office Charity of the Year: Stand Against Violence (SAV).

Stand Against Violence was established in 2005 by Adam Fouracre after the tragic murder of his brother, 17 year old Lloyd Fouracre, in Taunton - just one day before his 18th birthday. SAV works with young people who may be at risk of becoming either victims or perpetrators of violence. Through education, early intervention and practical support, they help young people make positive choices, stay safe, and ultimately reduce violence in our communities.

Your support means a great deal. Every donation, big or small, will help boost our runners’ spirits and get us closer to our fundraising target, while supporting the incredible work of Stand Against Violence.
