Portway Domestic Appliance's Fundraiser for Mencap

Portway Domestic Appliances is raising money for Mencap

24-Hour Three Peaks Challenge · 15 August 2026

Mencap wants a world where people with a learning disability gain an equal right to choice opportunity and respect. We believe that support for the families and carers of people with a learning disability is vital to achieving our vision

Story

3 Peaks. 24 Hours.

On 15th August 2026, Jack White and Sean Anderson of the Portway Domestic Appliances team are taking on one of the UK's most famous endurance tests, the 24-Hour Three Peaks Challenge.

They will be scaling Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon back-to-back. It is going to be tough, but they are doing this for a crucial reason: to support Mencap, the UK’s leading charity for people with a learning disability.

Right now in the UK, people with a learning disability face shocking inequalities. They are often locked out of the workplace, denied independent housing and face systemic barriers to equal healthcare. Mencap works tirelessly to change this.

23 miles of hiking, 3,000 meters of climbing and a night of zero sleep lie ahead for Jack and Sean, but it will all be worth it if they can help support Mencap.

Please sponsor our team and help us build a fairer world for people with a learning disability.

Thank you so much for your support!
