As you know, the war which followed Russia's illegal and barbaric invasion of Ukraine recently entered its second year. Tens of thousands of Ukrainians have been murdered, with millions more displaced. As a potter, I have been incredibly moved by the actions of my colleagues in Ukraine, who have continued to create beautiful work in remarkably challenging circumstances, with regular blackouts and the constant threat of bombing, all the while raising money for their armed forces and affected citizens.

I reached out to Ukrainian potter Yuliya Makliuk to see if we could raise money for those most impacted by Russian aggression. Together we have put together a collection of works by some of the best ceramicists in Ukraine and the UK to raise money for the Ukraine Charity War Crisis Appeal.

When you buy a £3 raffle ticket, you will be entered into our draw on the 30th April (T&Cs below) and your donation will directly benefit the citizens of Ukraine in their urgent time of need. The more donations you make, the better chance you have of winning some truly outstanding examples of studio pottery, and the more money will go toward saving the lives of Ukrainians in need. The funds will be used to procure medicines and medical equipment for victims of the war. Donations have already been used to purchase trauma treatment packages, and the list of others essentials to be supplied is growing rapidly.

Terms and Conditions:

Entrants must be aged 16 or over. Once your donation has gone through, make sure to enter your email and tick the box alongside “I'm happy to be contacted by Will Keating". Justgiving can then share your contact details with me and I will enter you into our draw on the 30th April.

Minimum donation for entry to the draw £3. Each additional ticket is £3.

If you are a UK taxpayer, please include giftaid in your donation!

Please note that entrants from outside the UK will be responsible for postage and customs fees in the event of your ticket(s) being drawn. Winners will be drawn on the 30th April and informed via email.
