Story

Greg, David, Stephen, Alan and Willie - taking on the National 3 Peaks Challenge in June 2025. But this is not the start of the story…

In April 2022, Greg’s son Jude was born with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus and SBH Scotland were such a great help and support to Greg and his wife Taylor at this time.

After David, (Jude’s Gramps) ran the Great Scottish Run Half Marathon in Glasgow and Theo (Jude’s Brother) ran and cycled to raise funds to help Jude… Dad Greg said he wanted to do something to raise funds for SBH Scotland to thank them for their continued support - he said he wanted to do a challenge. Well, the National 3 Peaks is certainly that! Climb the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales - over 10,000ft climbing, 27 miles of walking and over 450 miles on the road all in 24 hours!

So the date is set, Greg and David along with 3 friends will complete the challenge on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st June 2025.

The work of SBH Scotland is documented below and we hope people will give generously as we aim to raise Pounds for Peaks to support such a great cause.

Thank you in advance to all who will give!❤️

Each year Spina bifida Hydrocephalus (SBH) Scotland need to raise over £1 million to provide dedicated support services for children, young people and adults affected by these lifelong, complex conditions. With little statutory funding they rely almost solely on donations from amazing people like you!

Although classed as rare conditions, 1 in every 1000 pregnancies are affected and in this country, SBH Scotland is the only charity with a remit to support every one affected.

SBH Scotland thank you for your support.
