Story

You have reached the POWER X MSH Bognor 10km page.

Here's where you generously donate to MSH because you're a rockstar and it's so appreciated, THANK YOU. 📌

And, where you donate if you're not one of the Bognor 10km bunch but want to be part of POWER 'practice', in-person or online, in exchange for a donation. 📌

The story ...

POWER X MSH began in December 2025 with the POWER Advent Calendar that collected hundreds of toiletry donations, valued at £1,867 (what a bunch).

The ADVENT-ure continues as we step into our POWER, together, in 2026.

As one of the Bognor 10km bunch, fundraising for MSH, you'll unlock a bunch of POWER perks to support you as you prepare to lace up at the start line, on Sunday 17th May.

Think, bunch 'practice' in-person and online, for the bunch living further afield. As well as, first to experience POWER In Your Pocket - bananachat available when you want to shift (and 'practice').

If you're not one of the Bognor 10km bunch but would love to walk/run/move with us during POWER 'practice' - in-person or online - you're so welcome, in exchange for a donation on this JustGiving page to MSH.

Eyes peeled on social media and in banana mails (email hello@powerisbananas.com if you're not already receiving banana mail) for details of the POWER 'practice' plan that begins on International Women's Day - ten weeks til the 10km - on Sunday 8th March.

Why MSH, for me ...

The incredible work that MSH do in making women feel seen, believed, supported and em-POWER-ed in their experiences of domestic abuse is part of my story.

The national crisis they represent so brilliantly close to the Home of POWER in Chichester is one I want to support, and I would love for you to join me.

Thank you for your generosity, and for using your feet and your voice to support MSH.

Words below from MSH ...

My Sisters’ House is a safe, women-only centre providing free, responsive, and trauma-informed services for local women in the Arun and Chichester Districts. We empower women to achieve a hopeful and safe future. Our vision is that no woman in our community should face abuse, poverty, mental illness, or other disadvantages without access to the support they need to live healthy lives and realise their full potential.

Our work is guided by core values: we are women-focused, working from a feminist perspective to provide tailored support; professional, delivering quality and excellence in everything we do; compassionate, responding empathetically and without judgement; acting with integrity and responsibility in an authentic way; collaborative, fostering respectful partnerships and cooperation; and inclusive, ensuring our services are safe, equitable, and accessible.
