From the UK to India: A 25,000km Journey with Purpose
Sanjukta and Prabir are driven by a passion to make a difference and are embarking on a once-in-a-lifetime overland adventure— driving 25,000 km across 20 countries, tracing the ancient Silk Route from the UK to Kolkata, India.
Motivated by a passion to make a difference, they’re raising awareness about diabetes and fundraising for essential medical equipment at Hope Hospital in Kolkata.
"Our Odyssean Journey spans 100 days on wheels from UK to Kolkata along historic Silk Route, traversing 21 countries.
We have dedicated this journey for raising Diabetes Awareness across the continents with Rotary International and for helping the Dialysis Unit of Hope Hospital in Kolkata, that treats a number of patients with Diabetes."
