Hello Everyone,

Penketh Primary is a wonderful school where children receive not just education, but also care and support from dedicated teachers and staff. Over the past decade, I have witnessed the unwavering commitment of the staff to every child in their care. Their passion for nurturing young minds inspires us all.

A group of friends and I share a love for the outdoors and hiking, which has led us to embark on an incredible journey to Everest Base Camp. On 17th October 2025, we will set off on our 13-14 day trek into Nepal, facing challenges that will test our limits while raising funds for a cause close to our hearts.

Our adventure will take us through breathtaking landscapes as we trek from Kathmandu to Lukla, Namche Bazar, and beyond. Each step we take is not just for ourselves but also for the children at Penketh Primary School. The funds we raise will go directly towards building a new playground that will create lasting memories and joy for all the children.

Last year’s fundraising efforts made it possible to establish a Forest School for the first time ever at Penketh Primary. This year, with your support, we aim to raise £2,000 to continue making a difference in their lives.
