Our fundraiser

On 4 December, a merry band of ten of us from Pragmatic Semiconductor will be swapping our desks for the fundraising booths at Addenbrooke’s Hospital to support their much-loved annual Festive Sock Day. It’s a simple idea with a big impact: since NHS staff can’t wear Christmas jumpers due to uniform protocols, the joy gets channelled straight to their feet - and we’ll be there helping spread the cheer, and do some all-important fundraising.

Why we’re doing this

Addenbrooke’s is an extraordinary place - one that cares for our community through some of life’s hardest and happiest moments. Every penny raised goes towards projects that genuinely make a difference, including:

• Seed funding for game-changing research

• Therapeutic play and support for children, helping them face treatment with confidence and comfort

• Visits from the legendary Giggle Doctors, whose job is quite literally to bring joy where it’s needed most

• Plus many other initiatives that make the hospital experience kinder and brighter

We’re proud to support the incredible people at Addenbrooke’s who care for all of us. Festive Sock Day is a chance to give something back.
