In loving memory of my mum Wendy Griffin, who sadly passed 12pm 12/12/2020 as a result of a Glioblastoma. Mum was the most selfless, courageous and strong woman, and I will forever be proud to be her daughter. She truly touched the lives of everyone she met and Josh & I want to donate to this fantastic charity to honour her memory.

Josh & I will be running the Prague Half Marathon. Although Josh never got the chance to meet her, he has seen the impact she has left on the world and is passionate about helping make a difference to other families facing a brain tumour diagnosis. We’re taking on the Prague Half Marathon together to honour Mum and raise as much money as possible for a charity that means so much to us.

This race feels like the perfect time to attempt my first half marathon, with the event falling just under a month after what would have, and should have been her 60th birthday. It’s also my birthday weekend so I’ll be switching the cake for cardio.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help support the vital work of The Brain Tumour Charity and means so much to us both.

We can’t change what happened to Mum, but we hope that by doing this, we can help another family have more time with someone they love.
