Wounded Warriors Canada is a national mental health service provider specializing in culturally informed services that utilize a combination of education, counselling and training approaches to support resiliency and recovery from post-trauma injuries.

Story

I am fundraising on behalf of Wounded Warriors Canada, an organization dedicated to delivering life-changing mental health programs for Veterans, First Responders, and their families.

As a 32 year veteran of the Canadian armed forces I have witnessed the life altering damage that Occupational Trauma (formerly PTSD) can have on a person. I have also been fortunate enough to see the equally life-altering benefit of a PTSD support dog.

Wounded Warriors Canada’s programs, one of which is the Support Dog Program, provide crucial support and have a proven, positive impact—over 95% of participants report significant improvements in their well-being.

Your donation helps ensure those who serve our country and communities have access to the specialized care they need when facing mental health challenges.

Thank you for your support!
