Dear friends and supporters,
I am honored to share my story with you today. My name is Pratap, and I am on a mission to raise funds for a cause that is very close to my heart. I was a healthy and active person until one day when I felt short of breath while running. After undergoing various tests, I was diagnosed with cardiac disease, a common health problem in young patients, especially in Asians.
At the age of 42, I had to undergo triple bypass surgery, which was a daunting experience, especially during the pandemic in 2020. But I was lucky enough to receive excellent care from University Hospitals Birmingham, and I am now on my road to recovery. The timely diagnosis and treatment of my illness made a massive difference in my life, and I want to raise awareness and funds to help others in need.
I have taken up the challenge to trek Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, to raise awareness of the importance of being fit and taking care of our health. But I cannot do this alone, and I am counting on your support to help me reach my goal.
I have created a University Hospitals Birmingham Charity fundraising page to collect donations. Your contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in helping me achieve my target and making a positive impact on society. Your donation will not only help me in my quest to trek Kilimanjaro but also support University Hospitals Birmingham in their efforts to provide world-class healthcare services to those in need.
By donating, you will be supporting a great cause and helping to raise awareness of the importance of timely diagnosis and treatment of serious illnesses. You will be making a difference in someone's life, just as University Hospitals Birmingham did for me.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and thank you for your support. Together, we can make a positive impact on society and help those in need.
With love and gratitude,
