Story
While Running for Rescues is celebrating its 15th year of saving animals in need, I’m celebrating my own ten-year journey of supporting them, starting with the run club I launched at our brewery back in 2016.
Over the years, I’ve watched this organization step up for dogs, cats, donkeys, pigs, and even turtles. When a shelter calls for help, Running for Rescues calls the vet and pays the bill. It’s simple, direct, and life-changing, and I’ve been fortunate to be part of that mission.
This year, as I prepare to participate in the Rochester Regional Health Flower City Half Marathon on April 26, 2026 (right before my birthday!), I’m leveling up my personal challenge from a 10-miler to a half-marathon. This isn’t just about running; it’s about making a difference. Every mile I run helps an animal get the care it deserves.
I’m asking for your support not just because it’s my birthday race but because your donation will help save a life. My goal is to raise $427 for "Run With The Pack In 2026," and together we can continue this vital mission. Let’s keep making that difference together!
