Building a career in the arts and having access to cultural events has shaped my entire being. My family have often said "You widen our world with the stories you bring us."

In honour of supporting our industry and in celebration of my Dad and his adventurous spirit, I will be abseiling over the iconic copper roof of Wales Millennium Centre and descending into the heart of Cardiff Bay on Sunday 25th May!

This is my first ever abseil and for a few reasons, Wales holds a special place in my heart.

Mae hwn yn rhywbeth i chi, Dad. Diolch am fy nysgu i fyw bywyd i'r eithaf!

This is for you, Dad. Thank you for teaching me to live life to the fullest!

Please help me fundraise for Wales Millennium Centre on their 20th anniversary, with all monies raised going to support their significant programmes for the community and young people, including:

- Training programmes and creative opportunities for young people

- Community tickets schemes to ensure everyone has access to our shows

- Support, training and space for local artists to develop their work

- A free family programme, all year round
