Story
We are taking on the Purple Gunge Challenge to raise funds and awareness for the 10,000+ young people in the UK who have arthritis. We also wanted to celebrate the setting up of our Young Persons’ Clinic 2 years ago to support young people transferring from paediatric to adult services.
Two lucky young people will get to gunge Dr Heaf and Dr MacPhie on Friday 5th September
Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) is a type of inflammatory arthritis that affects the joints and organs and can significantly impact a young person's mobility. There is no cure, but we can help!
Your generous donations will directly support young people with JIA. Here's how your contributions can help:
£5 will provide 3 booklets to help children learn about the disease and give practical advice.
£10 will provide a 30-minute helpline call to give support at a time of crisis.
£30 will enable a one-hour facilitated meeting for a family with a recent diagnosis.
Please donate whatever you can today to support JIA! Every contribution, big or small, will make a difference. Thank you for your support.
