In April 2026 I will be running The London Marathon to raise money for Ovarian Cancer Action. This charity’s particularly close to my heart as my sister bravely underwent treatment for ovarian cancer back in 2023, with both surgery and chemotherapy.

Unfortunately the rate of recurrence is around 60-70% and she underwent another long procedure this year.

The money raised will fund science that can lead to earlier detection and better treatments. This will give women more time, more options and more hope.

Ovarian Cancer Action is the UK’s leading ovarian cancer research charity and they are involved in accelerating the Ovarian Vax project which is a world first vaccine designed to prevent ovarian cancer before it starts.
