THE PRIME CHALLENGE · 17 August 2023

We raise money to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

Story

In December 2021 our great friend Nick Craven was diagnosed with Cancer. After 18 months of first class treatment from the Royal Marsden, Nick and Tracy continue the daily fight to rid his body of this devastating disease. The Chemotherapy has taken its toll, with significant weight loss and being drained of all energy. Yet with the support of his lovely wife Tracy, family and friends he battles on. Nick and Tracy are going through this when they should be enjoying the prime of their lives.

With the expert care and treatment from the Royal Marsden and the support of all of us Nick WILL get back to his prime and enjoying what the rest of us sometimes take for granted.

Hence the the PRIME Challenge. Now I'm no Kevin Sinfield, but on the 17th August, I'm going to Swim 3,000m, Row 7,000m, Run (Jog) 11km and finish with a 53km cycle ride. Most of you will know I'm not the fittest person in the world and one might argue (especially Sharon) that I'm carrying a few extra Pounds/Kilograms, so it might take all day - but I promise you all I will get over the line.

Feel free to get in contact if you'd like to join me for a leg or 4, but what I really would like is your donation to support the Royal Marsden and our Nick. Any donation large or small will be gratefully received.

Thank You

Steve
