Terrace Soul is proud to present - A Weekender of Soul, Disco, Jazz Funk Music – Supporting Parkinson’s UK

On Friday 13th and Saturday 14th November 2026, we’re bringing something truly special to the DoubleTree Hilton, Swindon — a musical and social event filled with energy, soul, and purpose. Our goal is ambitious but heartfelt: to raise over £10,000 for Parkinson’s UK, a charity whose work changes lives every single day.

Through Prince & Paul’s passion for Jazz Funk & Soul music they have brought Brit Funk Association, Drizabone Soul Family, and Light of The World to Swindon , and Jeffrey Daniel , Omar, and Shaun Escoffery to Bristol over the last 4 years

Our headline act for 2026, Incognito, will be lighting up the stage, and we are honoured that the band’s founder and leader, Bluey, will be performing with the band. Many of you will know "Bluey" as an extraordinary musical force, but he is also facing his own battle with Parkinson’s.

In his own words:

“I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and Osteoporosis, but this has not held me back… As I struggle and push against the flow, I have never felt so creative! I started my journey wanting to heal the world through music, never thinking that I was going to be in need of that healing myself.”

And as he reminds us:

“Let this magical thing called music uplift you through hard times, elevate your spirits and feed your souls bringing balance to your everyday life.”

Why We're Fundraising

Parkinson’s is the fastest-growing neurological condition in the world. It affects movement, speech, balance and everyday life, and there is currently no cure. Around 166,000 people in the UK are living with Parkinson’s, and many more families are affected alongside them.

Parkinson’s UK funds pioneering research, provides vital local support services, and campaigns for better care. Their work offers hope; real, tangible hope for better treatments and ultimately, a cure.
