Sleep Easy: One Night That Changes Lives
We (Lisa Alborough & Alison Read) will be giving up our beds for the night and sleeping rough — not for the experience, but for the impact.
We are joining YMCA Norfolk and thousands of others across England and Wales in the Sleep Easy challenge to raise vital funds and awareness for young people facing homelessness.
It’s just one night for us. But for many young people, sleeping rough is a terrifying reality they face far too often.
Since 2010, over 7,000 people have taken part in Sleep Easy, raising more than £1.5 million to support YMCA services that help young people rebuild their lives. This year, I’m proud to be part of that movement, right here in Norfolk.
YMCA Norfolk works tirelessly to tackle the root causes of youth homelessness. From providing safe accommodation and mental health support to offering education, employment pathways, and a sense of belonging, their mission is clear, to transform young lives.
And what’s more, for every penny I raise, the lovely people at Aviva will match 👏🏻👏🏻
