On Saturday 13th June 2026, a team from Principal HVAC will be taking part in Marie Curie’s Beat the Mournes charity hike.

Together we’ll be walking 9 miles through the Mourne Mountains, starting from Kilbroney Park in Rostrevor and making our way through forest trails and mountain paths.

We’re doing this to raise money for Marie Curie, a charity that provides expert care and support for people living with terminal illness, as well as vital support for their families when they need it most.

Many of us have seen first-hand the impact serious illness can have on families and loved ones. Marie Curie nurses and support teams help people receive the dignity, comfort and care they deserve during incredibly difficult times.

As a team we’ve set ourselves a target of raising £5,000, and every donation — big or small — will help Marie Curie continue their incredible work.

Training has already started, and while a 9-mile hike in the Mournes will certainly test the legs, it’s nothing compared to the challenges faced by the people Marie Curie supports every day.
