Priory Law’s Plank a Day in May for Renewed Hope

Priory Law is raising money for Renewed Hope

Plank a Day in May

We provide practical solutions and emotional support to the homeless and vulnerable of Redhill, Reigate and East Surrey, responding to specific needs regardless of how complex the situation. We welcome over 300 people a year to our drop-In, offering a hot meal, a shower, and personal support.

Story

This May, the team at Priory Law is taking on the “Plank a Day in May” challenge to raise funds for Renewed Hope.

Each day throughout the month, we’ll be completing a plank, a simple idea that builds over time and calls for consistency, resilience and commitment. It feels manageable now… we suspect it may feel a little different by the end of the month.

We’re doing this to support Renewed Hope, a local charity providing practical support and ongoing guidance to people facing homelessness, hardship and isolation across East Surrey. Through their Drop-In in Redhill, they offer a welcoming place to come in, have a meal and access support when it’s needed most.

For us, this is about more than just a challenge. It’s about showing up each day, doing something together as a team, and supporting the community we’re part of.

Funds raised will help provide:

• A hot meal and a safe, welcoming place to come in

• Support for people facing homelessness and difficult circumstances

• Practical help to move towards stability and independence

If you’re able to support us, we’d really appreciate it. Whether it’s £5 or £50, every contribution makes a genuine difference - and will definitely help keep us going as the planks (and the seconds) get longer.

Thank you so much for your support.
