Story

Welcome to the ProBreezer 24-Hour Charity Livestream in Support of The Brain Tumour Charity!

In December 2019, my wife was diagnosed with a brain tumour, just months before the world faced the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the difficulties, she was fortunate to receive essential chemotherapy and radiotherapy, which helped slow the tumour’s growth. However, last year, we learned that the tumour had spread to her brain stem, prompting another year of intensive chemotherapy.

Thankfully, after this recent round of treatment, the tumour's growth has slowed, and its mass has even slightly reduced. We are incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received from friends, family and various charities during this difficult time.

Last year, we raised over £1,200 for Macmillan in recognition of the incredible support from their Specialist Cancer Nurses. This year, we’ve chosen to support The Brain Tumour Charity, a global leader in brain tumour research and the largest dedicated funder of brain tumour research worldwide.

The Brain Tumour Charity is committed to saving and improving lives by funding groundbreaking research, providing essential support, and advocating for change. They understand that when you or a loved one is diagnosed with a brain tumour, a cure really can't wait.

To support my wife and give back to The Brain Tumour Charity, who have done so much to help people that suffer with brain tumours, I have decided to host a 24-hour streaming marathon with some friends of mine!
