Wednesday, 25th October, we’re having an extra special Black History Month pop-up book shop taking place during Fika!

We’ve sourced some entertaining and stimulating titles from local independent bookstore Libreria, and they’ll be on offer for everyone in the office to own in exchange for a charity donation. The attached images provide details of books that will be available on the day.

All proceeds from the sale will be going to Black Minds Matter, a UK charity that connects Black individuals and families in need of mental health support with free therapy from qualified Black therapists.

While we’re suggesting a minimum donation of £5 per book, it would be great if all those participating are able to donate what they can.

And finally, don’t forget that this BHM pop-up shop will be taking place during the Fika afternoon, this month we’ll be serving up fresh Ghanaian bakes from Uncle John’s Bakery!
