Dear all,

Another year has passed and the Big Ride for Africa is back again and this time we’ll bundle our fundraising efforts in the LG Products team! We are Jennifer van Zeil, Koen Meijer and Chris van der Linden and we will take out our bikes and running shoes and spend two days of riding and running through the Irish countryside together with colleagues from across the Liberty Global ecosystem. Together, we are raising funds to help transform the lives of children through providing them access to education in some of the world toughest places. The challenge is organised by Liberty Global together with Virgin Media Ireland and will be taking place on June 18th and 19th in Belgium. Koen and Chris will be cycling close to 350km crossing national parks, hills and countryside and Jennifer will be hiking and 10K of running to raise as much funds as possible for the charity organisation Street Child.

Street Child is focused at improving the circumstances of children from disadvantaged backgrounds through providing them access to education. 1 in 10 children are out of school and 1 in 4 children who complete school are still not able to write or count. At Street Child they believe every child deserves to be safe, in school and learning, even and especially, in low resource environments and emergencies. So we’re here to change these statistics forever.
