Story
Many people find it hard to speak openly or ask for help, but talking can be life-saving – whether it’s with a colleague, a family member, friend or a helpline like Samaritans. Every 10 seconds, Samaritans volunteers respond to a call for help on 116123. Samaritans are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to listen and support people with whatever they are facing, with no judgement.

🌟 Project 116123 🌟 This year, I’m taking on a challenge inspired by the vital helpline 116 123 ☎️
📆Starting 11th June (11.6) I’ll be running 116km to kick off this journey, Over the next six months, I’ll cover 1161.23km, Finishing with a 123km ultra on 3rd December (12.3) 💪👊

That’s about 180km per month, and I want to run as many of those miles as possible with friends, turning them into “Miles of Smiles” reels because no one should run their hardest miles alone 💚#MilesOfSmiles
I’m aiming to raise £1161.23 for Samaritans, whether you run a mile with me, share this challenge, or donate — you never know how much your kindness could help. 🙏 #Project116123

More details on the two ultra runs closer to the time. For now, let’s start the week motivated #EveryStepCounts #RunningForACause
It’s the public’s kind donations and around 23,000 volunteers that mean Samaritans are always there for anyone struggling to cope. Thank you for your help.
