Story
Thanks for supporting my fundraising. MacMillan has grown close to me this year after my mum was sadly diagnosed with tongue & throat cancer in early October 2025.
We was given the news in April this year that despite mum going through a heavy treatment plan of both chemotherapy and radiotherapy, it hadn't worked in reducing the tumours how the specialists would've liked it to.
Since then, mum has now begun undergoing a form of immunotherapy to see if this treatment has a positive effect.
Mum is still battling this like a trooper and her determination inspires me everyday as she continues to fight and never give up.
During this time, MacMillan have been amazing with providing support to mum and myself along with assisting us in any questions / concerns that we've had.
I'll be sharing updates of mums progress over the coming months whilst I train for the event and mum keeps fighting.
Macmillan will do whatever it takes to help everyone living with cancer across the UK get the support they need right now and transform cancer care for everyone who will be diagnosed in the future.
Project 3in1 is going to be no easy task, but my drive and motivation to get the job done grows everyday.
Any donations are massively appreciated along the way.
Let's make this one a big one to remember!
