Story

Regions in Somalia have been prone to recurrent floods, which have a devastating impact on the local population, particularly women engaged in small businesses. These floods not only disrupt economic activities but also cause extensive damage to infrastructure, leaving people without homes and livelihoods. The women who run small businesses in this area face immense challenges in recovering from the aftermath of these floods. They lose their capital, their inventory gets damaged, and they struggle to access financial resources to rebuild their businesses.

Without adequate financial support and business assistance, these women find themselves trapped in a cycle of vulnerability and poverty. They are unable to bounce back from the impact of the floods and struggle to sustain their businesses. This not only affects them individually but also has a ripple effect on their families and the entire community.

By supporting our fundraising campaign, you can make a real difference in the lives of these resilient women. Your contribution will provide them with the necessary resources to rebuild their businesses, restock their inventory, and regain financial stability. Together, we can break the cycle of poverty and empower these women to create a better future for themselves and their families.
