In a joint venture, Wylam Playing Fields, Wylam Rockets and Wylam Cricket club are aiming to fully redevelop the ageing Pavilion. Initially built with the help of WylamCC in the 70s the site is now in need of much attention.

The aim is to fully revamp the current site, and extend it slightly, offering a welcoming space for all genders to change and use the facilities. A new bar / cafe area will offer a welcoming space for spectators and members of the village. The design will aim to create a space with multiple occupancy uses, incorporating junior girls football, junior cricket and mens and ladies adult cricket and be suitable to enhance the local area, offering much needed revenue into the local sports teams and WPFCA to continue to enhance the Jubilee field.

The design will be modern, but in keeping with the local area and any changes to the use will be approved through appropriate means.
