We (Izzy Earle, Kyla shortt, Kayleigh Irving, Faith Mackay and myself, Layla Martin) are set to walk up Criffel to help raise money for our YPI charity, Prostate Buddies on the 27th of April 2025.

Prostate buddies is a charity set to help men who are struggling through, just found out or after the diagnosis of prostate cancer. They try to bring more awareness to it and are pushing for more to get checked and tested for it. It is a very popular cancer (1 in 8 men will get it in their lifetime) More than 50,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year and more than 12,000 men die from prostate cancer every year in the uk alone.

We are hoping to fundraise enough to help towards the cost of rent for their venues, paying for their radio and tv adds and help them print out new leaflets to try and bring more awareness to it in Dumfriesshire.
