Here at ProVu we want to champion local causes. As a small company of ~20 employees, we've chosen FGMN as our nominated charity for the year for the incredible work they do for families.

Two phrases no parents want to hear but sadly are used to explain children's situations. Children may live for years with FGMN's support, and for others only days. It doesn't matter how long they need the support, we've seen how Forget Me Not works to make sure every child, mother, father, sibling and grandparent are all supported and guided through difficult times. FGMN closely works with the local hospitals and police forces too in times of emergencies as well.

As a family-friendly employer, several members of staff are parents or expectant parents and learning all about this charity resonated with us.

FGMN cares for children with a life shortening condition and their families, providing services such as hospice at home, crisis care, bereavement support and end of life care.

Through the coming months, we'll be raising money through our own activities, joining FGMN's own activities, and our own merits.

UPDATE 1:

We're excited to share that our fundraising efforts for Forget Me Not Children's Hospice are stepping up a gear – quite literally!

On 12th September, four members of the ProVu Communications team will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge – a demanding 24-mile trek across Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, with over 5,000ft of climbing. 🥾⛰️ The #ProVuPeaks team comprises of:

Andrew Riding – Sales Development Representative

Kate Figg – Group Marketing Manager

They're putting their walking boots on to help raise vital funds for Forget Me Not that provides outstanding care and support to children with life-shortening conditions and their families.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help us get closer to our fundraising goal and make a real difference to the families who rely on Forget Me Not Children's Hospice.
