Story
Thank you so much for visiting my page and for supporting the Glasgow Association for Mental Health (GAMH).
GAMH is an independent Scottish charity that promotes the mental health and wellbeing of people and communities across Glasgow, providing vital community-based support for people experiencing mental health difficulties and for carers and young carers.
This cause is also important to my family. My 14‑year‑old recently chose GAMH for a school fundraising project, and watching him speak up about mental health and raise money for the charity inspired me to do more myself.
Mental health is something I care about deeply. I’ve seen how invisible struggles can affect every part of someone’s life and how hard it can be to ask for help. That’s why I’m taking on the huge challenge of running a marathon – to push myself physically and mentally, and to turn every mile into support for people who need it most. Your donation will help GAMH continue to be there with practical and emotional support, helping people rebuild confidence, resilience and hope.
By sponsoring my marathon, you’re not just backing me – you’re helping GAMH provide the support, time and understanding that can change someone’s life. If you can give, thank you. If you can’t donate right now, sharing this page or talking to someone about mental health still makes a real difference.
