Pub Quiz

On April 18th, we are hosting our 3rd Edrington Connections Quiz at 100 Queen Street.

Why Lomond Mountain Rescue?

Many of my very close friends give up their time to train in the hills surrounding Glasgow to attend callouts from people in distress at the drop of a hat. They are highly skilled, highly trained, and are used to refraining from a night in the pub to keep other outdoors adventurers safe. They save Outlander tourists, missing pups, mountaineers and poor souls that just got a bit lost. I'm sure they've seen more than we'd ever like to hear about, and bring a dignity and passion to a voluntary job that is so rare in this world.

Basically, as I'm rubbish at rescuing, I thought it would be nice to fundraise to make sure their gear, quarters and vehicles are up to date and in ship shape. Who knows when we might need them next.
