Story
On the 13th of June our family will be taking on a sponsored walk to raise vital funds for Pulmonary Fibrosis Northern Ireland, a cause that is deeply personal to our family. Pulmonary fibrosis is a life-limiting disease with no cure, and it is the illness that sadly took our mum from us.
Before she passed away, our mum spoke often about wanting us to complete this walk for her. Although she never got the chance to see us complete the walk, we now walk proudly in her memory, supported by our incredible friends and family.
This walk is more than just a challenge or a way to raise funds; it is our way of representing the strength and courage our mum demonstrated during her illness. Every donation made will help fund research, support services, and care for people and families living with Pulmonary Fibrosis across Northern Ireland, so that others can receive the compassion and help our mother was so grateful for during her illness.
We walk carrying her memory with us, determined to make a difference in her name. Thank you for supporting us, remembering her with us, and helping bring hope to families facing this devastating disease.
