Walking Hadrians Wall July 2024

To cope with growing demand, our registered wildlife hospital hopes to raise funds to convert 8 sheds into new animal shelters. This will help us rehabilitate more of the sick and injured animals that have nowhere else to go. Help Us Help UK Wildlife

Story

What do you do if you see wildlife injured, sick or in distress? That's a question I've had to address several times. From pigeons, crows, to a muntjac deer. Often the problem has been caused by people or our activities. Pumpkin's hospital is the answer to where you can take injured or sick wildlife. Inspired by a fox, who has become a celebrity, and headed by an inspirational vet, the hospital is set up to treat and provide the best outcomes for wildlife in need.

I want to help and make those difficult decisions, about what to do if you find an injured animal, easy. That is why I am doing the Hadrian's Wall trek. I am paying all the costs myself (After all, I'm going to enjoy it as well as it being hard going!) so any money you can spare will go straight to the hospital. Please help me help them!! Thank you!

This is why your money is needed, in the words of the charity itself:

"Creating a wildlife hospital has always been the dream but when Pumpkin came along with her wounds after being left untreated, it was the catalyst we needed to put our plans in motion.

Our main vision is to prevent cases like Pumpkins from happening again. We want to be able to administer the proper veterinary treatment that these animals so desperately need and create a long lasting centre which will provide and grow with future generations. Doing this will ensure our wildlife is supported and our community educated.

How can you be a part of this dream?

A Wildlife Hospital is a challenging project to do on our own, that's why we are asking for your help to make this dream come true.

Donations, fundraising, volunteering, sharing our media, and advocating for wildlife, are all important ways to bring this to life!

Doing it alone may be impossible, but by working together we will create a butterfly effect that cannot be stopped.

Come and join us.

Its time to give back to nature!"
