Update: 2 Sue, Ali and I have completed our Walk from Llandudno to Wrexham! The purpose of our walk was to connect with people, start conversations, raise awareness of suicide and spread hope. That is exactly how it went and are so humbled that people felt they could open up and share their experiences and their stories with us, it was emotional and an experience I don’t think we will ever forget. We are very grateful to those who joined us along the way and walked with us, it mean so much to us and helped encourage us to keep walking. We had the most amazing welcome at the Turf pub when we reached Wrexham. Thank you to all those who came out to welcome us back, but a massive thank you to each and every one of you who has been so generous and donated to the cause that is so close to our hearts. We will now take some time to absorb our journey and the impact it has made on others. Thank you 💖

Ali and I are thrilled to share that we have now completed the Wrexham 10K run – a huge milestone in our journey! Thank you so much for all your support and donations so far.

BUT ………..

We’re not stopping there though! We’re now getting ready for our next big challenge: a 60-mile walk from Llandudno to Wrexham, taking place from 23rd to 25th May. Ali, Sue and Purdy will be walking the full distance over 3 days, and we’d love for anyone to join us for sections along the way if you fancy it!

Every step we take is in support of the Baton of Hope, raising awareness and vital funds for suicide prevention.

On 4th October 2025 Wrexham will come alive with a festival of activities and entertainment for the Baton Of Hope. The Baton of Hope will be carried by Baton Bearers across the county of Wrexham, in order to raise awareness of suicide and the importance of suicide prevention.
