Pure Innovations are proud to be taking on the AJ Bell Manchester 10K to raise money for PAPYRUS, the national charity for the prevention of young suicide.

This cause is incredibly important to us. Suicide remains the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, with over 1,800 young lives lost every year. PAPYRUS works tirelessly to change this, providing confidential support and advice to young people who are struggling with thoughts of suicide, as well as to those worried about a young person, through their life-saving helpline HOPELINE247.

We are especially proud to be fundraising for PAPYRUS because of our connection with 3DadsWalking, a charity who have visited our college to speak directly to students about suicide prevention, mental health, and hope. Their work has had a real impact on our young people, opening up honest conversations and helping to break down stigma - making this fundraising effort feel personal, meaningful, and close to our hearts.

Our runners include both staff and students, coming together to show that mental health matters, that young people deserve support, and that no one should feel alone in their darkest moments.
