Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity believes no child should face hospital alone.

Every day, around 500 children in our community walk through hospital doors. For many, it is frightening. For parents, it is overwhelming. And for families already navigating illness, treatment, or uncertainty, it can feel unbearably lonely.

This charity steps in to make things better. They bring comfort, play, distraction, reassurance, and moments of normality when families need them most. They help turn clinical spaces into child-friendly ones, provide emotional support, and ease the strain on parents who are doing their best in the hardest circumstances.

This Christmas, we are choosing to stand with them – together, we can help make those days feel a little lighter.
